We are pleased to report that our next smashing release is the four track ‘Picture Perfect’ EP (matinée 072) from Glasgow duo Strawberry Whiplash! These are the first recordings from the band since their debut ‘Who’s In Your Dreams’ EP (matinée 065) early last year and they have certainly returned in fine fashion. ‘Picture Perfect’ reminds this indie kid of those early Darling Buds and Primitives singles before the major label overproduction kicked in, while ‘Hay In A Needlestack,’ “Celestial’ and ‘Falling Through” prove that the brilliance of Strawberry Whiplash’s debut was no fluke.
